We're off to see the Wizard in the last week of Musical Month! This week we're talking about the classic from 1939.

This week's recipe comes from The Tipsy Bartender!

• 1 oz. (30ml) Creme de Banana 
• 1 (30ml) Coffee Liqueur 
• 1 1/2 (45ml) Irish Cream 
• 1 (30ml) Half & Half 
• Bananas 
• Ice 

Garnish: Whipped Cream, Banana, Cherry,2oz 

Blend ingredients in a blender. Garnish with whipped cream, cherry, and banana. Enjoy!

• 2oz Watermelon Vodka 
• 2oz Arizona watermelon Juice  
• Barspoon Strawberry Syrup 
• Splash of Sprite   

Mix in cocktail glass with ice.

• 3 Scoops Vanilla Ice Cream 
• 1 Cup Coconut Rum 
• 3-4oz Pineapple juice   

Blend ingredients in blender with ice. Garnish with sugar coated strawberries.

• 50ml Gin 
• 25ml triple sec 
• 1tsp quince jam 
• 1tsp marmalade 
• dash of lemon juice   

Garnish with quince or orange peel

Add all ingredients into shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into coupe glass with large ice cube.

• 1oz Grenadine 
• .5oz Lemon Juice 
• Splash of Perrier

Combine whiskey, grenadine, and lemon juice in a glass with ice. Stir and top with a splash of Perrier.

• 1/4 cup Raspberry Liquor 
• 1/3 cup Lime Juice

*Rim shot glasses with purple or black sugar*    

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into shot glasses.

This week's cocktail comes from Custodi Exitus!

• 8 cups coconut milk  
• 2 cups coconut rum  
• 1/3 cup coconut or cane sugar  
• 1tbsp vanilla extract  
• Whipped cream  
• White chocolate Lindt Balls

Bring coconut milk to a simmer and dissolve sugar and vanilla extract. Remove from heat and allow to cool in refrigerator overnight.       

Stir in coconut rum and serve. Top with whipped cream and white chocolate Lindt ball.      

Makes appr. 4 drinks

We kick off Halloween month with the genre defining slasher, Michael Myers and dig into what made this movie a spooky masterpiece.    

This week we are re-visiting an Irish coffee, but this time with a seasonal twist....and a biscotti knife!

Dash Orange Bitters Orange Peel for Garnish

Combine ingredients with ice, stir and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Flame orange peel and drop into cocktail.

• Ruby Red Pink Grapefruit 
• 2oz Vodka 
• 1oz Godiva White Chocolate Liquor 
• 2 Ice Cubes

Zest about 1 tsp of zest from the grapefruit. Add zest, juice from half of the grapefruit, vodka, chocolate liquor, and ice cubes to a cocktail shaker. Shake until ice is mostly melted, strain into rocks glass with ice. Garnish with grapefruit zest or peel.

Cameron really needs a day off, at least that's what his friend Ferris Bueller thinks, and that's just the beginning of this crazy day off in this John Hughes classic.    

This week we're faking a cold to take the day off, learning about ourselves, and enjoying a taste of freedom with some new cocktail ingredients.

•  .5oz Gin 
• .5oz Fernet Branca 
• .5oz Aperol 
• .25oz Cocchi Rosa 
• .25oz Turbanado Sugar Simple Syrup 
• Champagne   

*Dry Orange for Garnish    

*Slice orange into this slices. Dry on baking sheet in 200f oven for appr. 3 hours

Stir all ingredients except champagne with ice then strain into coupe glass. Float champagne over top of the cocktail and garnish with orange slice.

• .5oz Cucumber Dry Vermouth (soak 3-4 slices cucumber in 1cup vermouth overnight) 
• 1oz Lilet Blanc

• Lime Garnish

Shake with ice and strain into rocks glass with ice. Garnish with lime wedge.

This week we're making some clarified milk punch and going back to the beginning of Rian Johnson's career and talking about an interesting take on the classic Film Noire tropes.

This week's cocktail comes from Bon Appetit!

• 3 cups Black Tea 
• 3 cups Orange Juice 
• 3 cups Lemon Juice 
• 1 cup Simple Syrup 
• 1 cup Vodka 3 cups Whole Milk .  

Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and add whole milk brought to a simmer. Let stand in the refrigerator overnight. Strain off curds until you are left with clear milk punch.

• 2oz Milk Punch .
• 1.5oz Vodka

Shake with ice until super cold. Strain over ice in rocks glass.
